Today I prouldy present - The english part :D
I'm bored and so I decided to translate my first entry. But I have to warn you - my english is not perfect, so if you can find some mistakes, you can keep them ;)
Well, no one forced me to write a blog, but i decided to join the majority.
Yesterday I was counting the days which are left until I'm coming back home. And wow, there are 87 days left. It sounds a lot and it seems like time would just not go by, but on the other hand, there is so much left to do and to organize here, until I'm leaving it behing.
Couple days ago I was writing a To-Do-List. I have to make couple of doctor appointments, and mainly I have to ask for my mobile phone contract, because I don't think that I will need an austrian SIM card.
I was also writing a list with books I desperately want to read and take with me. Oh, and I have absolutely no clue, how I should transport my stuff. I mean, I don't know if I just can bring another 20kg bag with me. Let's see. And there's another point.. I haven't booked the flight yet. But they are getting cheaper, so there is some time left to do it. Especially because I don't have the exact date for my last work day. I think it will be the 31st of March, but I'm not totally sure.
In the end, this time will go by too fast and I'm sure that I will start freaking out at the end, because departure date will come closer and closer and there will be so much left to do.
But yeah, here I have my book list. I chose just german books, because I know, that I won't get german books that easy, when I'm back in Finland.
As you will see, I'm totally in fantasy stuff at the moment (I'm reading the Harry Potter series currently for the 3rd time). Couple years ago, I was just reading thrillers, in which I'm totally not interested anymore.
Some of you are maybe wondering about the Nicholas Sparks books. Well, he's an exeptional case, but I have to admit, that I'm totally crazy about the Notebook movie. Usually I would never read or watch straight stuff, but yeah, he is just great in this things. I could watch Notebook over and over again and honestly.. at the end, I'm ALWAYS crying.
Terry Pratchett - Die Farben der Magie
Berhnhard Hennen - Die Elfen
Nicholas Sparks - Das Leuchten der Stille
Nicholas Sparks - Wie ein einziger Tag
Michael Ende - Die Unendliche Geschichte
Wolfgang Hohlbein - Elfenblut
Ralf Isau - Der Verbotene Schlüssel
Ralf Isau - Die Träume des Jonathan Jabbok
Narnia 1 - Das Wunder von Narnia
Andreas Steinhöfel - Defender: Geschichten aus der Mitte der Welt
Anyway, I really want to read more books of Sergio Bambaren. I got one of his books when I was a child and I really liked it. His books are always with a deeper meaning and I think I should read it again, because I'm sure I was not able to get the deeper sense back then.
Well, if anyone still didn't get it.. I'm totally into books. I could read the whole day and most of the time, I'm carrying a book with me, where ever I go.
One of my all-time favourite books is definately The little Prince. I just looove this book, even though it's for children. But yah, it's great.
Harry Potter books are as well one of my favourites. I can't even choose the best one of the seven parts. As I told before, I'm reading them again. I started around the 1st of November with the first part and now I'm already amost done with the 7th. And I have to say, that I'm all the time a bit sad again, when it comes to the end. It's a great story and it's somehow sad, that there will be no further part released.
But let's go on. Just don't read The 120 days of Sodom. It's the most disgusting and ugly book I ever read. Or better - I tried to read. I was not able to read more than maybe 30 pages. Usually, I can read everything, but that's just too much. It's worse than customer reviews say. I'm regretting it, that I was buying it, after one year of thinking about. Well, apparently it will be the first book ever I won't read until the end.
Oh, and I should not forget to tell about another favourite.. Andreas Steinhöfel - Die Mitte der Welt. I think, this book isn't translated to english.. unfortunately. It's also a book for children, but even though it's just too great. There is nothing more to say about it, except: read it, if you didn't already!
Okay, I think we came to the end. It was my first entry at all in english language. And I know, that my english is not the best. But I hope there are not too many mistakes. Just let me know if I should better stop to write in english, if it's too terrible :)
